Definition of Fair Association Member:
One who expresses a desire to assist the Fair Association in its activities by providing necessary help to complete its’ projects.

Rules and Guidelines:
Applicants may be recruited by means of Board of Director recruitment, newspaper or radio advertising; or by any other means deemed necessary.
Applicants must fill out an application for membership, which will be reviewed by the membership committee, and if necessary, be called for an interview.
Membership shall be open to persons 18 years of age or older, and who reside in Guadalupe County, Texas, or the adjacent surrounding counties.
Upon acceptance as a member, each member shall pay a one-time membership fee of $15. This fee will pay for nametags and other supplies deemed necessary for each member. There are also annual dues of $10.
Each member shall be required to provide 24 hours minimum of assistance to the Fair Association during each membership year. The membership year shall coincide with the fiscal year of the Association, which shall begin on the first day of April and end on the 31st day of March each year. Minimum hours shall be pro-rated from the time of acceptance as a member. (Based on 2 hours per month)
The term of membership shall be for a period of one year. Reapplication for membership shall be automatic, for a period of one year and voted on by the board of directors with recommendation from the membership committee.
Each member shall be entitled to one (1) vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the General Membership as provided in the by-laws.
Whereas Fair Association activities take place throughout the year, all members must display a concerted effort to participate in those activities throughout the year.
