Goats: Saturday October 8, 7 to 9 AM
Lambs: Saturday, October 8, 7 to 10:30 AM

Judging:
Goats: Saturday, October 8, 10 AM
Lambs: Saturday, October 8, 12 Noon

MARKET GOAT SHOW RULES

Judge: Billy Bob Moczygemba, Karnes City, TX

Entry Fee: $20 per animal

Entries accepted day of show. No early entries.

1. Open to all 4-H and FFA members. Additionally, siblings of participants 5 to 8 years of age may participate.
2. Wethers or nannies allowed.
3. Goats will be divided into three (3) weight divisions. Within each weight division there will be a maximum of four classes.
4. Weight card must be turned in at time of weigh-in. The show officials will weigh animals and that will be the official show weight. No weigh backs.
5. No weight limit.
6. Goats must have milk teeth.
7. Premiums will be paid. Belt Buckles will be awarded to three weight division champions. Class winners receive hoof trimmers. Grand and Reserve will receive monogrammed blankets sponsored by Barbara Wright family and additional prizes.
8. Collars are allowed.
9. Jackpot Showmanship to take place following judging. All money will be paid back in four(4) age divisions:
   • Pee-Wee - Up to 2nd grade
   • Pre-Junior - 3rd to 5th grade
   • Junior - 6th to 8th grade
   • Senior - 9th to 12th grade
10. All animals must be free of external abscesses, sore mouth, ring worms, or pink eye. If the animal is sick, leave it at home.
11. Showmanship participant must have competed in the regular goat show and must show their same animal.
12. All goats will be released immediately following show. All animals must be out of the barn no later than 8 p.m.
13. Show barn opens the night before for early arrivals.

MARKET LAMB SHOW RULES

Judge: Tanner Morgan, Stephenville, TX

Entry Fee: $20 per animal

Entries accepted day of show. No early entries.

1. Wether and ewe lambs eligible to show. Slick shorn lambs only.
2. Exhibitors may show an unlimited number of lambs.
3. All animals must be free of external abscesses, sore mouth, ring worms, or pink eye. If the animal is sick, leave it at home.
4. Market Lamb class open to any 4-H or FFA member. Additionally, siblings of participants 5 to 8 years of age may participate.
5. Premiums will be paid. Breed Champions will receive belt buckles. Class winners receive hoof trimmers. Grand and Reserve will receive monogrammed blankets and additional prizes.
6. Show order by breed: Southdown, Fine Wool, Fine Wool Cross, Medium Wool.
7. Weight card must be turned in at time of weigh-in. The show officials will weigh animals and that will be the official show weight. No weigh backs.
8. Jackpot Showmanship to take place following judging. All money will be paid back in four(4) age divisions:

Rules:

1. You must reside in Guadalupe County only.
2. You must be a 4-H or FFA member.
3. You must show your own animal.
4. Entry is free but you must have shown in the regular show to participate.
5. There will only be one class of goats and one class of sheep.
6. Grand will receive a belt buckle and Reserve
